Unity enthusiasts, your attention please! Unite Europe 2016 is this year’s most important gathering of developers, publishers, training providers and enthusiasts passionate about Unity. The conference will take place from May 30 until June 2 (that’s next week!) in the heart of Amsterdam.
Just like last year, the unique Westergasfabriek location will play host to advanced hands-on tutorials, technical sessions, first-hand information about upcoming Unity features, and offer tons of networking opportunities. Registering is this way.
Among many interesting keynotes by veteran industry experts, there’s a panel discussion on room scale VR featuring our very own FLEGA board member Dirk Van Welden from I-Illusions and Valve’s Chet Faliszek.
Dirk won’t be the only FLEGA member strutting his stuff. For the first time ever at Unite Europe, the conference will feature the prestigious Made With Unity Showcase. Out of numerous entries, Happy Volcano made the cut of 36 studios and will showcase their newest game: Winter.
Winter is a narrative driven exploration game for pc and mobile platforms that will be out early 2017. The game tells the story of a young girl that only has one second left to live. She finds herself stuck in a peculiar world with everyone else who died in the same second. They are all given the choice of life or death, but not everyone is willing to make that choice.
Happy Volcano are collaborating with Belgian author Joost Vandecasteele on the narrative. Earlier this year, the game swept away the Belgian Game Award for best mobile game.
