Starting today, the Belgian games industry will strutt their stuff at EGX Rezzed, one of the biggest consumer shows with a focus on pc and indie games in the world. Hosted by Gamer Network, the company behind game websites Eurogamer and Rock, Paper, Shotgun, the show is part of the London Games Festival and takes place from March 30 until April 1 at Tobacco Dock in London.
Proud FLEGA member Pajama Llama Games will present a new playable version of their flooded survival simulator Flotsam. In a year with a record breaking amount of submissions, they managed to secure a spot in the acclaimed Leftfield Collection, a selection of quirky, alternative games that spawned indie classics like FTL, Gone Home and Her Story. No pressure, guys!
The game has been out for some time, but longtime FLEGA member Sileni Studios will show off the upgraded and overpowered new Xbox One version, Mayan Death Robots: Arena, for the first time in public. If you like games that go boom, be sure to swing by Mode 4’s Bombslinger for some roguelite Bomberman mayhem.
While Divinity: Original Sin 2 won’t be playable Swen Vincke, founder of FLEGA benefactor Larian Studios, will talk about the challenges of building narratives that play nice inside the main story when the characters themselves don’t. You can follow it live on the EGX Twitch channel (it’s at 3PM today) or watch it later on the EGX YouTube channel.
