We’re extremely happy to welcome Bart Bonte into the FLEGA family. You probably know the one man development army from one of his many great puzzle games. Most of these were playable on mobile or in a browser before, but today one of his most succesful older titles is bouncing onto Steam: get ready for Factory Balls.
Factory Balls is a logic puzzle game where you have to replicate a certain design on a ball. You do so by using various shapes and colours of paint to create the desired patterns. It seems easy at first, but as you progress up the assembly line things can become tricky, and a tad absurd as well.
As with most games that carry Bonte’s signature, Factory Balls isn’t about fast puzzle solving and getting high scores. There’s no time limit or fail state, so you can experiment without pressure to work your way to the design you need. Or you can just mess about with the different options to see what ball creations you can come up with.
The Steam release features all new levels (221 in total!), designs and tools, so even if you’ve played all the previous content there might be something here to pull you back in. And there’s more good news around the corner, as Bonte has teased the next instalment in his colour themed series (check out Yellow, Red and Black if you haven’t already) is soon to be announced. Any bets on what the next colour could be?
